Product Structure and Working Principle of Powder Tanker

  1. Product Structure
    • The bulk powder tanker is composed of two parts: the truck chassis and the special device for bulk powder transportation.
  2. Upper Structure
    • The upper structure mainly includes four parts: the transmission system, the tank, the piping system, the accessories, and the sub-beam.
  3. Working Principle of the Powder Tanker
    • The power from the truck engine is transmitted to the air compressor through the power take-off (PTO), drive shaft, and other drive devices.
    • The compressed air generated by the air compressor enters the tank and passes through the fluidization device to fluidize the powder material.
    • Due to the pressure difference between the inside and outside of the tank, the powder material is conveyed along with the air through the discharge pipeline to the designated location.
  4. Introduction to the Fluidization of Powder
    • When gas enters the powder layer from the bottom of the container, if the gas velocity exceeds a certain value (0.015 m/s for cement), the frictional force between the gas and the powder particles will be equal to the weight of the powder particles.
    • At this point, the powder particles are no longer supported by the fluidized bed and can move freely. They flow from a higher place to a lower place, keeping the upper surface of the powder layer horizontal, similar to the properties of a liquid.
