The structure and working principle of a concrete pump truck are as follows

A concrete pump truck is composed of five main parts: the boom, the pumping unit, the hydraulic system, the outrigger system, and the electrical control system. It is modified based on a heavy – duty truck chassis. On the chassis, there are installed mechanisms for movement and power transmission, pumping and mixing devices, placing devices, and other auxiliary devices.
The power of the concrete pump truck is transmitted from the engine to the hydraulic pump group or the rear axle through a power take – off (PTO) box. The hydraulic pump drives the piston, which in turn operates the concrete pump. Then, the concrete is conveyed to a certain height and distance through the placing boom and delivery pipes on the pump truck.
